No It's Not Baby Freddy Kruegers Prostetic Hand

Here's another item I found in my Grandfather's tool box. Now I remember using one of these a few times as my Father was trying to teach me a few things about auto mechanics. I'm sure some of you old timers know what it is, but some of the younger ones probably do not have a clue.
Cool

Its a feeler guage - used for measuring gaps between such things as spark plugs, tappets, ignition points, etc etc. - so John, my husband says.... and will be marked in 1000 of an inch! Imagine that!

@roth...Yes Sue so must I be..but then I read some of the comments here and now I know what it is.

It sort of looks like a miniature Allan wrench- but I know it's not. I know nothing about tools- especially tools related to cars! Nice capture. Looking forward to the answer.

Interesting, Rick. The least knowledge I have is mechanics. Can't say what that is - though it looks like some Allan keys and holder.
