After contemplating for quite some time, and maybe a little begging, no tantrums mind you, I asked Josie what she thought of me buying a new camera. She looked at me, and in her sweet, and loving way, she said, "You bought it already, didn't you?" I laughed and confessed, no I did not. After a few chuckles she gave permission. I went right to the computer Thursday evening, and ordered it. It arrived today. Yes! I am psyched, and now I must read the book, and familiarize myself with the new equipment. Happy man here!
@tara11 That is good to hear. I was looking at the 5D Mark II & III Full frame, but not planning to use it as a profession, I thought the 60D would be a nice upgrade. It feels great in the hand, very nicely balanced.
Congratulations on the new addition!! I upgraded to an X4 (550D) about a year ago so cannot justify a new one - yet!! I am sure you and it will have many happy hours together!!
Congratulations! I keep thinking I want a new camera, but I have to spend more time behind one to justify that... Maybe when I retire and have more time to myself... :)
@digitalrn Thank you Rick. I have been busy preparing photos for my exhibit and still follow a few here. I do not plan on posting anymore photos on this site because I like my photo count to stay at 1000.
Oh so glad I scrolled back to yesterdays shots or I would have missed this exciting post! hope you have lots of fun with this new purchase & good on your wife for being so understanding of this passion!!
Hi, Rick! Just popped on to 365 for old time's sake. Hope you're doing well! This is my camera and I love it. :-) Not been doing too much lately (circumstances) but I'm thinkin of comin back to 365 in the not-too-distant future.
