I couldn't believe the the sunset this evening. It was quite stunning and I was lucky to be on a quiet back road, not bothered by oncoming traffic or other cars following me. I am always amazed at how different each sunset can be, and how beautiful the end of a busy day can be if we only take the time to enjoy the beauty of nature.
This is so beautiful! Fantastic clarity! I was just thinking the same thing about the colors in the sunsets...we had a pink and light blue and an orange/yellow/blue-gray in the span of a few days! Fav!
Absolutely beautiful - doesn't a pretty sunset just take away so much of the tiredness of the day - feel sorry for people who never notice these. I've learned to see so much more since becoming interested in photography.
slightly jealous: we had one of these where I live this evening and I saw many many places/moments where a stunning photo might have happened. And I could not pull over.... I guess Milanie's comment above should give me some comfort (that I even noticed these photo opportunities).
That is Gorgeous! With a sky full of dappled clouds, I knew there would be a beautiful sunset tonight, but at 5, going several miles to dinner with the neighbors, I was watching for one nice open space for a sunset photo on any given day, and I remembered why I'd rather be back up north on a beautiful evening. We could have driven further on to the beach, but the suburban sprawl of Orange Cty doesn't give up much of this sort of wonderment! Thanks for sharing yours!
@talea LOL, that is just too weird. I cannot believe you posted a comment. Just last night I was looking through posts and all of a sudden I thought, I wonder what happened to Talea. I know I haven't been able to keep up with my Flikr account, and other things like I'd like, and then today you post a comment. Were your ears ringing? Hope all is well. Things are good here, busy as ever. A new Grandbaby on the way, due in August. Our Daughter and Fiance are quite happy. Still do not know the sex yet, but who cares, a Grandbaby, yeah!!! Stay well. Hope your kiddos are doing great too.
awwww!!! Congrats to you and your family!! Babies are truly so much fun! Maybe that's what prompted the need to come over here! I've not posted on Flickr in a while. I'm so busy trying to figure out my life that some things have fallen to the wayside. Losing my camera's battery charger didn't help either. The kids are doing well, thank you. But I'll catch up on all that life nonsense in a bit. I just stopped in before starting some homework.
