Apple Crisp by digitalrn

Apple Crisp

We were invited to a family party tonight, and our Kids asked me to make Apple Crisp, a double batch, so that was my afternoon project since I was not able to work outside. The recipe itself is not hard, but pealing and coring all those apples, about 10 pounds, that's a task, especially when you have joints that ache. I wish you could smell the house right now. There is a sweet apple and cinnamon aroma filling the air.
Yum!

All that work, I know! Hope it lasts more than two meals!

You realized EVERYONE is going to want to come to the party?! What a taste treat! Lucky you that for all your hard work, the aroma will linger after the last bite is gone! Oh yes...and you've got a good photo collage to go with it!

May I just say... apple peeler/corer/slicer?! I have one and it really helps when peeling lots of apple at one time. I feel like I can almost smell that yumminess!

This looks delicious - you made a piece of art out of your work for the day.

Hahaha! My kids always ask for an apple crisp, too. In fact, my 14-year-old wanted one instead of birthday cake. He also wanted homemade lasagna, so I spent the day cooking. Looks yummy!
