"Last November, Matt Molloy busted out into the art scene with his gorgeous smeared sky photos. Stacking as much as 100 to 200 photos into one, he gave us a new way to enjoy the view right above our heads. By experimenting with new techniques, he found a creative new way to use timelapse photos. As he tells us, "It's amazing to have the ability to see a different perspective of time, how things change and evolve."
It gives us great pleasure to announce that Matt Molloy is now selling his prints in our art store, My Modern Shop. ..."
Wow! What a fantastic idea! Definitely going to give that a try! @grizzlysghost And I'm another one jealous of the view outside your door. Great picture too!
My second attempt; the clouds look so much different from my first attempt because they are MUCH further away. So, the closer the clouds the more the impact. Check out the photo for more details!
@grizzlysghost I'm wondering about ditching the 55mm and zooming in to bring the clouds closer. I was hoping to try today, but not a cloud in the sky. Can you believe, it's been months since we have seen sunshine and now I'm wishing for clouds...go figure. By the way, I like how this smoothed out the surface of the water.
My first attempt, out my front door. Thanks again for sharing this Dorrena! :)
Nice view from your front door!

Tried it with a sunset, but didn't have the clouds, and how would you know the sun was setting thru all the trees....there will come a day.......
