I too, always looked forward to Bill's postings. In addition, he always gave me motivation to continue taking photos as well as demonstrated such kindness in his comments on my posts.
He has only missed this past week. He even posted a comment on that thread a few days ago so maybe life just got busy. Hopefully he will post soon. :) Fingers crossed.
I miss Bill D too and I am Bill D! Hahahaha. I have enjoyed every minute on this site and miss not commenting and posting. I'm the one who asks folks to see their vacation pix and I so enjoyed seeing into and hearing about people's lives on 365. Also, very, very talented photographers on this site (much better than me)! Probably got caught up in the competition and realized that wasn't the best attitude, so I'm taking a break. I will continue to comment and hope to post again soon. @bill_d yes u was hot gossip threw our phone lines today in down town sunny australia lol ... Its been a nice breath of fresh air to have u on this site. Not only are is photography totally amazing u urself is a genuine heart of gold kinda guy. Your words are so encouraging to each and every person on this site. I know when u comment on my shots i get the AWWWWWW special bill treatment . You make each comment personal which shows that u really did like the shot and not just returning the favor of a comment.

Bill, take a break, then get back on as soon as you feel like it. I absolutely love your work, and value your feedback. As someone just starting out, I like to hear supportive (but honest) comments from talented people such as yourself. Hope to see you back soon.

Me too. Bill's kind comments on my very average photos were always so nice coming from someone so obviously in a totally different league from me! I'm missing the beautiful nature shots.

@bill_d I love your comments on my photos. It really makes me feel like I should keep trying. Not an easy thing when I have a newborn to occupy my time. I am so glad you are not gone. Enjoy your time off. :) Like a vacation of sorts. lol
@bill_d - I knew you weren't too far away as I'd recently see a post of yours .. it's ok 365 is about you and how you use it. Just give all the competition concepts a miss as it's you and you pix and comments that is missed. We're all winners here if we even have 1 person looking at our work. Go well and hang loose.
So glad you're still hanging around!! I haven't been a documented follower because you had so many already and I didn't want to burden you with another. But, I routinely checked your posts. Your photos are absolutely amazing. And it always stunned me when I received a comment from you on one of my mediocre, at best, photos. @bill_d : Whew, I guess everybody's just happy that you're back. Good to know you didn't walk out on all of your dear fans : ) Just wanna let you know that I ditto Andrea. You were one of the first person to comment and appreciate my photos when I first started here in 365. You really did make me feel welcomed and your pictures really inspire us to do better with our own crafts even if not everyone gets to comment on your pictures. I guess this thread has already proven that you are a much loved celebrity around here. Thanks and God bless : )

I was always surprised and pleased to receive your comments, particularly when I was a newbie and had no idea what I was doing! It's good to take a break but please don't make it too long! Just want you to know that I appreciate your input and adore your photography!
