You need to follow folk before they even see your pictures.... it is a gradual build up of following and being followed. Very few would just land on a random photograph and make a comment. Find pictures that you like and begin to follow them. Those who make comments on other pictures usually find that folk then make comments in return. Relationship comes first and then critique.
I took a quick peek at your album. I am going on a limb here but I believe you are shooting everything in auto mode? a lot of your pictures appear to be underexposed (dark) for my liking. So my first critique for you is to gain an understanding of Exposure, how Shutter effects it, how aperture effects is and lastly what the ISO does to an image for your given camera of choice. I love that you are interested in photography and that you are willing to take some criticism. Hang in there, one day the light switch will turn on and you won't remember not knowing about exposure settings.
thanks for your responses! to jeff: thanks for your critique! i'm totally aware of everything you said but i'm so new to this so i'm still working on getting my pictures to look quite right. thanks for the last two sentances-the last one in particular was very inspiring.
