ask familymembers, if you can help them in the household etc and get money for it and just asking for money for birthday and x-mas not other gifts... ;) best of luck!! :)
I would say the same as Katia and Ruth...My 9 year old son does chores for grandma and grandpa to make some money. Maybe help with yardwork, taking out the garbage, stuff like that :)
Babysitting is usually a good option. Find out if there is a course in your neighbourhood and take that so that you have it as a reference until you have people who can vouch for you. A good idea is to have your parents support so that if you ran into trouble your customers know you have a backup, if needed, until they can get home. If you go around with a flyer and introduce yourself many people will be impressed with your entrepreneurship and they will also have your number to contact you. That goes for doing yard work or anything. Make sure your own parents are ok for you to do this first!
Mow lawns, rake leaves, babysit, chores around the house, birthday money, yard sale, e-bay (sell stuff you don't use anymore) chores for neighbors, lemonade stand, recycle, walk dogs, pet sitting, give dog baths...
You could always start with a bridge camera or try to find a used dslr off ebay or amazon. I bought two cars in high school by baby sitting for a $1 an hour. It can be done :-)
Mow the lawn, clean the house, wash the cars, paper round, as soon as you turn 14, babysit, it's a right money spinner! Erm, birthday, christmas, good exam grades.....
Maybe you could do some sort of work at your parents' place? A minor doesn't legally have to be paid minimum wage but I was aid $5/hr at my father's office. It was a nice income.
(no pun intended)
Thanks guys! My grandparents live 12 hours away from my family so i think i will have to do it for people around the neighbor hood!
Thanks everybody!!! I will try all of the ideas!
@38mm How about no!
