Hey
I'm just getting started with photography because I've always wanted to and I needed something to do that wasn't just going to college. I don't really know if I'm any good or what I need to do to get better. It would be great to get advice on what to work on. http://365project.org/rawrs1009
Thanks!
@rawrs1009 Don't sweat the Golden Ratio "rule." It's just another way of dividing the frame and finding "strong" positions. Check out the Crop Tool when you go look at your mom's Photoshop. You'll actually see THREE ways of using this ratio! The grid, the spiral and the triangle. Personally I don't find any of them more compelling than the simple "thirds" rule, and way too complicated to implement without viewfinder aids when shooting. They are all only guidelines, and who is measuring anyway? ;)
@pocketmouse @frankhymus Thanks for looking!
