Hey everybody! I just bought my first DSLR for an intro class next semester. I'm hoping to get a head start and found this site to be the perfect place to start. I only have a few pics up so far but any criticism will help me out. Thanks!
For crit, you're better off posting a shot in a thread here and asking specifics. Because there are so many new people, it is likely you won't get a lot of visits by just asking for people to stop by. Some will of course, but many just won't find the time. Otherwise just make friends - people tend to reciprocate if you visit their photographs. If you put "CC needed" or "crit please" or something in your photo descriptions, you're also more likely to get comments other than the usual "Great shot!" and such.
I hope you enjoy the project as much as I'm enjoying it!
