I like to hang on to my full SD cards (with the RAW images) as a rough and ready extra backup but the trouble is I haven't found a satisfactory way of marking the cards with the date range of the photos that they contain so it is easier to find the right one later. I tried a pen and that didn't work very well! So can anyone recommend a satisfactory way to do this? I know there are card holders for storage and that is fine until the cards get mixed up which I have had happen to me, so the cards themselves have to be marked in some way. Any advice is most welcome. Cheers.
@allsop I have a pen which writes on CDs/DVDs, which will write on SD card labels - if it is black then I make a panel with Tippex and then write on with the CD marker pen
Like you, I keep my cards and I use the same method for annotating them as Annie-Sue @anniesue, writing on them with a fine tip permanent marker. @allsop
