Another newbie here, I really love this idea of taking a photo every day. I think it will be a huge challenge, but I'm pretty excited about it and hopefully I'll get motivated and inspired every day to attempt to take a good pic. I've had a D60 for a couple of years but I've not used it much, even though I've always loved photography.
The one thing I'm not looking forward to is having to post a photo I'm not happy with when I just can't get it right.. I usually don't show the bad ones to anyone!
Welcome... and nice to see another Aussie Bec in the mix :)
It certainly can be a daunting thing - but so very challenging and wonderfully rewarding too. Find some other folks on here, 'follow' their albums and you will be amazed at what you will learn & the inspiration you will find.....
Have fun :)
Well howdy neighbour (if you're in Adelaide, that is :)).
I'd like to echo canberrabec's sentiments... I spent a large chunk of yesterday browsing the latest photos, and there are so many good ones! I know where I'll be looking when I need ideas for an angle/subject.
thanks for the tips, I've been looking at so many photos on here, there are some extremely talented people doing this! It is pretty inspiring to see what everyone is doing :)
Hi all, another South Aussie here..or at least an Adelaidian,...:)) this 365 is a great idea...gets you out and about and gives the old thinking cap a workout!! :))
Queenslander here :) Bec I wouldn't worry too much about posting what you think are bad shots. I've found over the last year, that often, I'll post a photo I think is just ho hummm and I'll get more views and comments than on one that I think is amazing. The main thing you need to do, to be able to complete the project without burning out, is just have fun with it :)
Welcome to the wonderful world of 365 :)
bit of an Aussie gathering right here (victoria). no-one talk about the cricket :|
good luck for the next year Bec M :D
Oh geeze, since it's an Aussie gathering I'll pop in too :) Another Queenslander here ... welcome Bec :)
And definitely don't worry about those "bad" shots ... we've all posted them ... and like Jodie said - we think they're ordinary and then suddenly they have 20 comments in the first 5 minutes ;)
Hi Bec, just wanted to be sure that Western Australia was counted in the Aussie gathering. Haha.
I'm new too, hopefully it'll be a bit of fun. I am planning to photograph something that represents my day... whether it be a good photo or not doesn't bother me (no pro here.lol)
Have fun.
^ I just wanted to say that :)
And welcome! Don't worry too much about it - it'll become habit and even the "bad" ones won't be that bad anymore.
