I am looking to eliminate the blanket in the background and make the background all black so that it is just my daughter in the picture. Do any of you guys know how to do that. Cant seem to decipher what my elements' manual says. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Personally, I would use the burn tool to gradually blend it in. Just set the opacity to a low amount to add the dark color slowly. The shortcut for the burn tool is "o" just in case you want that. It should work pretty well since the background is dark already. HTH
that's the site i go to when i want to edit something. because i can't remember how to do anything in photoshop, i just go back everytime. you can type in what you want to do and they generate websites that can help you with it. some have videos and some have step by step tutorials that are sooooo easy to follow that even i can do them.
