I'm pretty sure if you pay for an ace membership, you can edit on picnik.
Also, there are a multitude of editing programs you can use to do that as well.

If you upgrade to ace membership, you can use picnik to process your photos, including rotation.

YOu could always rotate them in windows explorer, too. Just right click on them, and use the option for rotating.

I'm not sure why you can't upload .jpg images. Mine all are...

You can use Picnik even without Ace by just going directly to www.picnik.com and signing up . . . basic editing is free, there is a very affordable upgrade for enhanced options. You can then save your edited photo from Picnik to your own computer and then upload the edited version . . . Not sure about the jpg problem either, I always upload jpg . . .

Uppercase vs lowercase sensitive? You should be able to rotate your picture on your pc before uploading.

Thanks for the tips guys. I guess my problem is that I am using Ubuntu Linux OS. If I rotate the photos in the picture viewer it changes the date to the day I rotated them instead of the date I took the picture and it makes my 365 too difficult/impossible to organize. If I use Picnik or another program it also saves the picture to the date I rotated it. Basically Ubuntu sorts images by the date edited and not by the date the picture is taken.

And I can upload .jpg images, but I can not upload .JPG images (Capital letters here folks). I just have to go into every individual picture and change the name but it's too much of a hassle when other websites let me just upload the .JPG without a problem.

I was just giving feedback to the people that make this site because they could be missing out on some users having similar issues.
It's a moot point anyhow becuase I print my pictures through Picaboo.com

If you're nerdy enough to be using a Linux distro surely you could write a quick shell script to lowercase all the extensions in your pwd and just run that after dumping files from your camera?

@eyebrows Haha

@eyebrows What exactly is this language in which you speak? :0)

You would like my friend, Data.

@eyebrows LOL... how funny is that..!!!

What I'm wondering is: why would case matter on uploads? I didn't think file extensions were case sensitive...
March 18th, 2011
@csievert file extensions aren't in windows but it's what's looking at them that matters - if the site has been coded to only accept (jpg|gif|png) and not expressly told to ignore case, it'll be case sensitive
March 18th, 2011
@csievert another point of interest is that yeah windows ignores case, but linux doesn't, so hello.jpg and hello.JPG on windows could not live in the same folder, because windows would ask to overwrite one - on linux both would quite happily sit there being different files.

Ahhhh... interesting! thanks Teddy! I can now say I've learned something new today. HOpefully just the first in a long list!
