I like #2 and #6. I like #2 for the shadow of the leaves that shows up on the other leaves. Not too sure about the word "Pure" on the picture. #6. I like the bright colors of the newly opened buds. I don't always like words on photos. However, I could see this picture being enlarged into a poster and placed on someone's wall. I like where you are going with your shots.

I decided not to put my own plant pictures here, because I thought your work should be showcased here. Feel free though to view my plant shots. I love spring and a lot of my shots have been of flowering plants for about a month or so.

picture 2 has great shadow/light effects and picture 5 is excellent for the focus and background bokeh....ah but I would not put the wording on either as I feel it takes away from the beauty...having said that, if the wording is at an opacity of 60 to 70 (ish) percent it would be more suttle, but then I guess it depends on what message you are trying to convey...sorry if that is confuzzing...this is more of how I would do it and not to take away from two very beautiful picutres.

picture 4 - nice flower but I would crop different to show more flower.
Picture 3 - nice frame..I like how the inner color picks up the less dominant colors and the outer color picks up the more prominent colors...and it is so hard to judge just how large to make these, but I think this is done well.
picture 6 - nice bokeh ! (not crazy about the words or frame)

picture 1..I just love the black and white and the framing =)

@kkfielding I like pictures one two and three..pic. # 4 I like to see mor of the flower.picture 5 and 6 I'm not so fond of the large print it takes away from the picture.

@kkfielding : You know already that I really like # 2!! Oh and I like the muted color of # 3....# 5 is really nice too...although I might think about putting the word BLOOM down ( maybe lower right corner) I think it masks the beauty of the bud.I really like what you are doing with your photos!!

@daisy Thank you so much! the advice really helps!

@roth thank you! thanks for taking the time to actually critique EACH one! it means a lot.:)

@bruni Thank you so much!!!! and yes on #4 i didn't get the right shot. I was rushing:) haha but thank you so much for the opinion!

@jeannine1125 thank you and i see what you mean for the BLOOM placement! ill make sure to place words carefully!

THANK YOU ALL!

many of you dislike the use of words in the pictures, and i can see that. It does take away from the picture itself. 5 and 6 i made when i was beginning photography and didn't quite know about formatting properly. The critiques were greatly appreciated!

The three first ones are really nice, my favorite being the second one. The three latter ones are too bland IMO though.
I gotta say I hate the texts, as you've already noticed =]

@axel Yes as you may have read above, i was just starting out, i hate them too:)

really like 2 & 3,
don;t like the text on the others its too distracting and spoils the shot.
the b & w for me is too dazzled and the daff is not a great flower as there's black spots on it - needs to be a good flower when doing macro work

i like them all. i have to say the texts are really a personal preference, but i think the "pure" picture with the leaves would look great w/o the words too. i think the text makes it personalized in a way. :)

i like picture 1 best, then 5, then 2

I like them all and the words. Pic two is my favorite. It looks pure and like the see through leaves. Nicely done!

@kmrtn6 i understand thank you. It was a rainy day and that particular daff had the least amount of mud on it:) i guess nature wasn't favoring me:]

@chantal thank you! ya I find the fade in the word less harsh than the other uses of words without fade. Thank you for the support:)
