Ok, I'm tired of using Picnik...and my Adobe isn't working ):
What other good editing sites/downloads are out there?
Thanks!

To answer your question, I use picnik..sorry can't help you there.

For most people, Lightroom will "do it all" and, if you can get a student version, costs about $120. GIMP is good, powerful, and free, but not the easiest to learn.

I use a mixture of Gimp and paintshop pro photo x2 (thinking of upgrading to x3) between them both I have pretty much all I need

I use Gimp, Photoscape (both free) and the online free version of picnik.

@picturelover101 I use Paint.net, it's free and windows based. I've heard it works much like photoshop but haven't used photoshop to compare it to. I've tried GIMP but like @jinximages says it can be hard to learn and the tuts are hard to follow. I've used Paint.net for almost 4 years and really like it. The only problem I had with it was I couldn't get it to open RAW files. If you don't use RAW files then you might like it. It's a download and you can get the lastest verison at www.getpaint.net Hope this helps.

GIMP and PhotoScape....both are free online....GIMP is very much like Photoshop, without the 100 dollar price tag.

LR3 and PSE9

I use Aperture and Pixelmator, but both are Mac-only. The two together form a killer combo for those of us who want to avoid Photoshop.

I have used just about everything but settled in with Photoshop a long time ago and still use it. Sometimes I think I could use something less and then end up using Photoshop Essentials - version 9 works fine for me but I always click on Photoshop.

Most often I use Photoshop CS3 and Adobe Bridge. Some times I use Photoshop Elements. I recently purchased Lightroom, but I haven't had a chance to install it yet.

My students had an assignment to critique free photo editing sites and their favorites were Picnik.com and Photoshop.com
