Mainly because I love comedy, and going to comedy gigs. Plus, it'll be fascinating to see your pictures from your tours and gigs - and to see how they compare with my own (I'm a musician, so I'm also on the road a bit).
As for the followers thing. Some people have thousands; others don't. It's not really worth spending too much time thinking about how many followers you have, or who has more or fewer followers than you, though - just keep taking your photos, and enjoying your 365 project. :)
There are a few long standing legends of 365 who still pop up every now and again. I think Annie is followed by everyone ever (@indiannie_jones at 1,157 followers) and Lauren Delhauser is not far behind (@lauren211 at 1,076). There's also the legendary Peter Van Allen (@petervanallen who has 1,060). They all finished their 365s a while back but are still posting lovely shots.
Those are the main biggies I can think of! Reckon you reach those dizzy heights Olver?
Nah, I'm not going to strive for followers, the plan is to try and document my life. Hopefully a life will get more varied than this first week of 2012.
Although I have also decided to make Peter Van Allen my nemisis.
I only have 4 :( ... if I ever hit 10 I'll post it everywhere!!!! If I dont ever hit 10 I'll just go ahead and check myself in to therapy for rejection and sell my camera.
you have a new follower, most of y followers are friends of mine but i feel very happy when a stranger follows me, makes me feel like my photos aren't complete cack :D
I have 4!!! Hey Gail....( I see you posted you have 4) I will follow you if you follow me. Then we will be half way to 10. This is just such a challenge to make myself take a photo everyday. I can't wait till day 365 and look back, and see if my pictures get better month to month. Time will tell.
Wow Mark...thanks to your post I have 8 followers now! I'm thinking therapy can wait...
Martha..great advice...patience is not my gift but I'm trying.
Lulu...you have 5 :)
Courtney...thank goodness for pity followers!
Jade...cack? I.have a new word...
@gailwf you're welcome :) Another little tip for discussion threads - if you click on the reply link to the right of someone's post (or just write @username) the person you mention will get a notification so they know to check out your comment! :)
@markolver I still take pictures, dontchoo worry. You're deliberately ignoring this whole @reply thing aren't you? I remember you being difficult when I was trying to teach you about twitter :)

Because I can.

Cute.
But yeah I've been around for yonks, in 365 years. Essentially in actual years.
Never mind, rambling now. Running on three hours of sleep.
Congrats!
I am following you now :)
It took me a very long time to get more than 10 followers...
1) Patience is a virtue.
2) You get what you give
Follow others and comment on pictures you like and you'll have your own little network in no time!
I think everybody did. I lost over half of those I did have in The Great Purge...
