another "how to" question-accessing original photo in 365

January 29th, 2012
I signed up for an ace membership and was under the impression I could access my photos directly from the 365 site, say for eventually putting together a photo book after my year is up. For the life of me I cant figure out how to do this. Does anyone have any idea and would be willing to fill me in?

1. Go to the page of the photo you want to save. There's no way to bulk download, you'll have to do it individually.
2. Click on View More Sizes on the right.
3. Scroll down to Original, and use the link it gives you to download the photo.

That's all there is to it! :)

I am doing this as I go, but not by taking them back from 365.

Found it better to label a new file on the computer as 365 Project and when I select a photo to post, I put a copy in the file and label it with the date it was posted.

That way at the end of the year, I will already have them gathered and dated and can manipulate them anyway I want.

I did the same thing as @swguevin

@annaruth @swguevin I wish I had done this from the beginning - I'm going to have to go back and do it now, and then start doing it from here on out. Which I keep putting off. Which makes me want to do it less. It's a Catch-22. :)

@beautifulthing haha! I know what you mean. I didn't start til about half way through. I used the website for reference as to which order they were taken. It took me a few days because I only have so much patience.

@beautifulthing Thank you! I will go back and do that for all of the pics I've posted to date and then start what everyone else is doing! @swguevin @annaruth It will have to be a project that happens a little bit at a time because like you guys, I too only have so much patience. LOL Thanks for the instructions and tip, I'll start with tomorrows picture because Im too lazy to start tonight. ;)

@swguevin - absolutely agree - this is the way to do it

@beautifulthing Being that you are 148 photos into your project, there may be a way to send it to picnic to edit, then save as. And put a copy back on your computer. If you do two extras a day, you would finish before the end of e project. Start the new one tomorrow, plus two old, will be easier thanmanaging 365 at the end.

@swguevin I do the same thing. I found that it was easier just to stick them all in a 365 Project folder so I could easily find them when needed. :)

I save my 365 shots in folders by year and then each photo starts with a day number to keep the in order too :)

I also save a low quality jpg just for uploading, then I delete it and keep the larger edited file.
