We have a live webcam up on a wild Peregrine Falcon nest in Portage Des Sioux, Missouri (just north of St. Louis) and the eggs are hatching. Sioux mom and dad take turns sitting on them. Three have hatched and we're waiting on the last two. Have a peek and maybe you'll get to see the eyasses (fancy word for baby peregrine falcons). Post here and let me know if you see them!
Wow, the mommy/or daddy kept turning around looking straight at the camera like bugger off I'm busy here, quit looking at me. I didn't see any babies but it seemed like something was moving under the parent. Thanks I'll check back in on the action later.
The eggs here should be hatching in the next week http://www.ntu.ac.uk/ecoweb/biodiversity/falcons/index.html?campaignid=falcons
