A One Penny Camera!

Here is the very detailed description, what do you reckon? I'm happy! Its actually to give to a friend who has been an inspiration to me. Naturally I'm going to have to run a roll of film through it first to make sure that it works.

Samsung AF Zoom 1050 35mm.

First of all, I'm selling this as if you look in the picture you can see a slight fault. The lens cap does not automatically open all the way. if you push it out the way they stay and the camera is fully functional.

cosmetically in excellent condition.

comes wth original strap and shoulder pad

I'd like to say that if you can live with this or fix this this is a seriously underrated camera. it has so many features that you wouldn't see unless you were buying a top end olympus superzoom camera or canon sureshot.

It can do multiple exposures. I've only tried doubles but i think it goes up to 3!

You can adjust the exposure in 1/2 stop increments!

it has macro and tele macro modes

a very sharp lens, 38-105mm with step zoom option

landscape mode, portrait mode, backlight correction, night mode. 2 self timer modes allowing you to take multiple shots on a timer, intervalometer (interval timer), long exposure (bulb) mode and continuous shooting mode.

It has auto, fill in flash backlight and no flash modes.

green backlit display

I don't currently have betteries in it, it takes 2 cr2's but

the 'fuzzy logic af' despite sounding ridiculous actually means that the camera activates the flash and sets the aperture to say f11 to give a wide depth of field. it then simplifies it's af motors so that it only has 2 zones, 'near' and 'far'. then the af system just has to detect whether someone is 'near' or 'far' and the motors and exposure circuits can react faster. so basically this is a great party mode, very fast af and little or no shutter lag.

So all round. It's pretty much got the feature set of an automatic slr, it's not a small camera but it's awesome. If I knew how to repair it or found another working one it'd definitely have a place in my collection.
