So I joined this site a couple days ago and decided not to start my 365 journey until a very special day next week. Reading the forums and looking at weekly challenges has gotten me excited and antsy to get started. I'd love to share in some past things I've done, but then again I'm taking this task seriously and will make sure to take photos everyday.
This post is more of an introduction and that I look forword to learning much and making new friends!

@dmortega Initially I was going to just start, but as I get older I find my memory easily failing me and knowing me Id forget what day I started without having to look it up etc. Plus this being a journey of sorts I figured why not start on one of the most important days of my life, and my year. On August 15th my baby girl would have turned 4, but I lost her during labor, and she was stillborn. This year I talked my husband into a trip to the beach for her birthday and I think this would be the most awesome way to begin my year in pictures.
Perhaps not a bad way to end it either...
You will love the journey, I am over halfway through year two and still having so much fun. So sorry to hear of your loss but it sounds like you are handling it in a positive way. Photography can be very theraputic too. Enjoy.

Take photos everyday. I've been doing this now since December 30th, 2010 without a break in the action. It can become addicting.
