Before and after photos

August 26th, 2012
I have created a media section to my main website where I can share my "straight out of the camera" photos and my final photos.

If you can have a look and let me know what you think that would be fantastic. If I find that people are interested in these I might start posting a description on the changes I did along with how-to videos.

I have added the before and after photos to these three posts.

Click on the image you want to see the before and after photo. It will take you to the 365 original post, in the description of that post at the bottom you will see a link that will take you to the before and after photos.

Great idea... I'm not one to process much... one because I don't know much about how to do it.... and two, I'm not into full on processing ... probably cos my brain doesn't see things that way lol... however, ones like your latin one... absolutely, that would be helpful to know the how to :)

@ozziehoffy I know what you mean. Post processing can be anything from adding a touch of contrast to increase the details in a photo to something which is far away from the original photo like my Alien photo.

Here is a video I did up on how I touch up a portrait.

Hi Brendan, Im really interested in this and will explore your how to sections. Id welcome anything you can point me at, i like the way this guy processes his photos (moody, blue in tint) but havent been able to figure it out yet. btw - I use Apples Aperture 3. http://prosophos.com/popular-photos/

Woah. The slider dealie is one of the coolest things ever!!
August 26th, 2012
Most impressive, and I love the slider thing.
August 26th, 2012
@wardie Which photo on his were you trying to replicate?

@m9f9l @newbie I saw that slider on another site and new I just had to use it. :)

It is really cool hey?
August 26th, 2012
Yes, and I FB liked your page :)
August 26th, 2012
@newbie Thanks. :)
August 26th, 2012
Love it! Would love to see some of your how -to videos esp the tree one!
August 26th, 2012
@saranna Cool, have you look at my other videos?

I dont think I could do the tree one again and if I did it would be a long video as it took a considerable amount of work to mask the branches out for the different effects.
August 26th, 2012
No I haven't seen them@agima ? Are they on the site or youtube
August 26th, 2012
@agima Hi Brenda, I was trying to replicate this one http://prosophos.com/popular-photos/#jp-carousel-11028
August 26th, 2012
@agima you are amazing
August 26th, 2012
That is really cool how you did that.
August 26th, 2012
@saranna If you have a look at the description in my profile there is a link there to some of them.

@jsw0109 Thanks mate

@webfoot The slider was really easy as it is someone elses code but I had to create a image management system behind it so I can quickly/easily upload image.

I can post details of the slider if you want?

@wardie I would suggest that he has changed the white balance to be cooler than the shot. Sharpened the eye, put an iris blur. It also looks as if he up the vibrancy, and increased the saturation as a whole and then increased it again just for the eyes.

Does that help?

@agima Thanks. It's OK as I don't have the time right now to explore it properly. It was really interesting how it slid back and for though.
