Help! 4GB compact flash

I bought a larger memory card for my camera. I have pictures on it, but can't get it to download to my PC! It's like my PC doesn't even recognize it! Has anyone had this problem? What did you do?

You might have to get a card reader. I had a similar problem 4 years ago. Sorry I'm not a big help, hope someone else knows more about this.

I know that my husband's old laptop wouldn't read anything larger than a 2GB card. OR maybe it was a 1GB. Look up your system.

You may need to upgrade the driver. That's for Windows, don't know about Mac

One of the card readers I used didn't accept SDHC cards, just the SD ones. Possible you need a different card reader.

I just got a new larger, faster card and had to update my card reader.

The other, smaller cards that I have work, so I think perhaps I need to shop for another card reader! I will let you guys know how it pans out, but will likely be next weekend before I get to go shopping, unless I get lucky!

Have you tried: My computer: double click on the sd card: and see if the images come up? I have had experience where I just turned to copy/paste to my folders. That way I don't have to worry if the sd card is not recognized.
