Hi everyone, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this!
I'm away at the moment and left my camera charger behind, so am borrowing an older camera. However, the camera is a bit crazy and it's saying that the photo's I've taken on it were taken in January 2007 or something... I'm changing this when I upload to make sure the upload date is accurate to the date that I actually took the pictures, but when you're viewing any photos taken with it it says at the side that I took it years ago!
I know it probably doesn't matter that much but it's kind of annoying, is there any way I can change that information? a) on this site and b) any ideas how I can make the camera recognise the actual date?
The pictures in question are from the 20th and 21st ( http://365project.org/strachs/365/2012-10-20), taken with some sort of Pentax (which is already getting on my nerves!)
Sorry if this was really rambling.. essentially I just want to know how to change that information because it is incorrect and I don't like that its making me look like I took the pictures years ago! Thanks! xx
You can change the date in some edit programs but that won't change the camera. The camera date needs to be set correctly. No, there isn't any way to change the exif info once it's uploaded here.
Thanks everyone :) Managed to fix the cam, although am annoyed because it's.... well it's rubbish. Nothing compared to my usual point and shoot (I'm borrowing this because I've left my charger behind).
Seriously considering ordering a new charger... is that silly? Otherwise I've got two weeks with a camera I hate. Or is this just the workman blaming his tools? ha x
