A little bit of my country.

September 18th, 2010
Hello guys!

I've realised there are not many people from South America in this site, so I'd like to share a little bit of my country with you all. It's a song made in Venezuela.

Hope you like it! (:

The song is about this guy who loves this girl, but she's always telling him that she loves him too then she goes away, so he sings "I'm tired of your blah blah blah", meaning her way to say things being totally different to the way she treats him. She disappears, so he goes after her, he explains his story to the other 2 singers, and they just think he's crazy about that girl.

I forgot to mention that the video was filmed in Venezuela, so I wanted to show you a little bit of the places we have here. Without forgetting, the beautiful ladies. The main girl he's looking for, was the Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza. :)

Hi Rolando. I enjoyed looking at the video.. although I don't speak the language I got the drift. loved the pictures of the different places it showed of Venezuela. My husband and I spent a vacation in Venezuela in Caraballeda..that was before we had digital cameras...so you figure out how long ago that was..unfortunately I forgot the exact date we where there as I also forgot to put dates on the back of my pictures. sorry. we just googled Caraballeda and I must say it looks totally different now. I remember walking from our hotel to a big shopping center. we were told about 20 minutes walk ..it turned out that we walked for an hour always thinking it's just around the corner now. on the way back we took a taxi.

Hello Bruni, I'm glad you liked the video, it's good to know there have been people here in Venezuela and had a good time.

The images you've googled that you say, 'looks totally different now' is because there was a flood in 1999, that destroyed the whole city, it's been called 'Vargas tragedy' (if you feel like checking out on Google or Wikipedia), and so far, it hasn't been fixed yet. It's a shame things like this happen to our world, yet I still say, this country have a lot of things to show!

I invite you to take a look of
- Los Médanos de Coro ,
- El pico Bolívar,
- Margarita Island,
- Los Roques,
- Angel Falls,

I hope you like them!
