Pleasantly surprised...

On Saturday I took a photo of a bird that I needed to convert to b&w to keep with my 'monomarch13' theme but I really thought it was going to lose something in the conversion. When in fact...I loved the result...

Just wondered if anyone else has been pleasantly surprised by an edit working out far better than they'd hoped.
