Hi all,
I have been looking through photos on here and found one i liked from 2011 (i think) i used it for my inspiration of my latest photo.. In my description i have named the photographer and the photos name but just wondering if i need to do anything else???

I've just taken a look at your latest shot. It's great to get inspiration from other photographers and I think you've done enough. I'm not even sure that flamez is still posting here. This is a shot that's been reproduced a lot and something I've thought I may try at some point but think it would be impossible to pin point who was the originator of the idea :o)
it depends.. are you thinking of crediting the photographer because you're trying to be nice or are you thinking of legal reasons? If its the second, then you dont need to worry about it - as long as you shot it, its all good.
If you're thinking about being nice, then you may also want to put that photoographers tag in the comment straight after so it appears in their notifications
Thank you @julieco , @psychographer , @toast and @mej2011 .. I did see flamez hadnt been around for awhile but i would never had thought of the idea without seeing the pic.. The reason i ask isnt for legal reasons or even for being nice... Lol.. I just would hate for anyone to see my pic and think id 'copied' someone elses work without acknowleding where the idea came from...
@mrsbaldy I think we all inspire each other on 365. Whenever I lose my phojo I take a look at the people I follow and admire and try my hand at their style and always credit them with giving me the idea. But truthfully, there are no original ideas ever so you don't need to worry. Just enjoy the experience :o)

@mrsbaldy _ thankyou very much for mentioning me in your vesion , i have just popped over to see it as sarah kindly made me aware of this thread :) your photo is fab , nice processing work ! :D ...... i must say altho its probably been done loads i cant remember what started me off on the idea in the first place , i probably just had lots of apples in thehouse that day hehe! x
personally i like to see people saying when someone has inspired them, i think its nice :) ...... im ding to post loads again but feel people get bored of seeing my rainbows and i got stuck in a rut ...... hmmmmmm maybe ill pop back soon as ive just today put paint shop pro on my brand new system (been using a netbook for months) so the possibility is there !

Most of all thank you @flamez ... I love your posts... You do amazing work... I worry that people will be sick of seeing all my portraits of my babies but ive now decided its my project and if thats what i want to take photos of then thats what my followers will be seeing... Lol... Luckily so far no one seems to be complaining.... I really dont see how anyone could be sick of seeing rainbows.... Ill be looking out for your new stuff.... Xx
