A month of Lensbaby or freelensing

Im going to take the month of July for my Lensbaby.

I really want to push myself to think outside the box more. I see so many photos that look the same. That is not always a bad thing. But why not push yourself to be different. Even if you take your lens off of AF and find the focus on your own. Is a great start. Photos like these may not be for everyone. I find when you are doing all the work you learn so much. So even if you dont join, try to push yourself to use your camera in ways that really make you work.
I will be using DSLR and Film.

Also called Lens whacking. I have been thinking of doing this too April. Its a great idea to do a month of it. I'll join you but not sure if I'll be able to do it every day.

@aprilmilani I don't have a lensbaby and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to do a month of freelensing but I'll definitely give it a try! The technique has intrigued me for a while and this has given me that little nudge :)

Sounds like a great idea. I don't have a lens either, but have done cheats with Photoshop. I'll give it a go.... Not the whole month though. And thanks for encouraging us to try new stuff...it's so easy to get stuck in a rut, isn't it.

Here is my try! I have never even heard of this before I read this thread... I think the results are pretty cool! I plan on pushing my self a bit more with it but for my first attempt I like it!
