New faces page: Wondering how it works.

Some of my photo's are supposed to be featured, on the new faces page. I can't find it on the page. I just want to know how it works since I new to this project.

The photos don't stay there long (don't know how long, exactly, sorry). So if you've got a 'new faces' next to your photo chances are it's already been and gone from there.

As for how it works, it's a bit random. Sometimes photos of people who've been here for a while appear there.

That's what I have done. My photo is not there.

I wonder how many photo's are uploaded on the page. And also how many times it are updated.

I am not complaining, am just wondering.

These browse pages are one of the ever changing mystery hunts on 365!

@daisyjuds - I really wouldn't worry about the 'new faces ' popular page' and all that - there is a certain randomness to them - to say the least.

Just enjoy posting, enjoy looking at others work, follow those you like, and you'll get followers back.

Enjoy!!

I just popped over to the New Faces page to see what was on there Judith and one of your pictures showed up. It is 9:30 pm EST USA. Just thought you'd like to know! It is a random sort of posting. Like the Popular page which cycles 40 or 50 pictures throughout the day, the New Faces does the same (I'm just not sure how many "new faces" pictures rotate in and out). So you may check in the morning and not see one of yours, but a few hours later it will appear.

@styru, Thanks for the good advice. I think you have a point there. It's more fun to see the gorgeous photo's from other people, to make new friends, to get their comments and advice on your own photo's. And the biggest plus point is to learn new aspects about photographing.
