Just watched this and thought it was an interesting exercise to see digital photography through a fresh pair of eyes, the master Don McCullin - his first experience with a digital camera. Sorry if all y'all have already seen this.
OK, let's face it, it was a puff piece for Canon but I really think that everyone should watch this thirty minute film. To see the work that he was turning out inside a few hours was amazing. I also learned several valuable lessons. So whether you shoot Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Olympus, Sony or whatever you really need to watch this.
Canon obviously forked up some money as a promotional piece, and I didn't like the ambassador guy, he was talking to a legend as though he was an irritating newbie. Don was a Nikon and Olympus user during his career so its weird one of those didn't snap him up with the same idea. He would have been able to use his own Nikon lenses on the Nikon digital body too. Funnily enough his Nikon FM is on eBay at the moment, £155 allegedly his anyway, no certificates. Thanks guys glad you liked it.
