I wish more people would put some information on their profile, even if it is limited to where they live. When I look at someone's photos I click on their name to see some info on them and in many cases it is blank. On mine I have included an email address so anyone wishing to make a general comment not specific to a photo can do so. So, to those who do have some info, thank you. To those who do not, why not just take a sec to add a little. Perhaps in the proflle page when signing up on this site there is a line or two to be filled in regarding "home" or some other info.
I so agree I always look to see if there is any information! I think that is why I have enjoyed the where ya from topic, I have been trying to place people that I enjoy following to where they live. Would be easier though if on their profile page :)
Yes. It feels as if we're beginning to get to know each other just a little and some additional information will enrich that experience. I'll go and add a wee bit more on my profile.
I totally agree. I too like to look at the profile information so I can get a sense of who is posting. That and the explanations on pics makes it seem so much more like a community of people with the same challenge and interest in sharing, which is what I love.
I agree Ray. I usually look at the profile when I find an interesting photo by someone I'm not following yet and get quite disappointed when there's nothing there. Its a fine line between too little, just enough and too much info though ;-)
Yes, good idea, as far as e-mail is concerned, if I get something from an address that I don't know, I delete it. Perhaps what we should do is the first message we send to a new contact say (subject) is 365 project. I would be more apt to open it if an e-mail is received from a person I don't know.
I love to learn about the people taking the photos, and I'm always a little bummed when they have no information. But I thought I was the only one who looked. Glad to see I'm not alone!
