Any 365ers in the Plymouth/Turnchapel U.K. area?

I am heading "across the pond" on vacation next month. Our trip begins in Plymouth/Turnchapel and will head northward from there, into Wales and then Scotland. I'm looking for "must photograph!" sites in the area. Things not to miss. Etc. Thanks!

Hi Shannon, for Scotland, I would suggest Glencoe. Any of the countless lochs and if you drive the road between Fort William and Inverness along the banks of loch Laggan, you will see the beautiful Ardverikie House on the far shore. It's a private residence, but a pretty view.

Wales, Snowdonia have a slice of cake and a cup of tea at Ugly House http://www.theuglyhouse.co.uk/the-ugly-house/

Can't help you much with Plymouth, sorry.

Cheddar Gorge in Somerset is gorgeous and the caves well worth a visit :)

@pixiemac Sarah, thank you! I have actually been to Scotland before (in 1997), and Glencoe was on my list of "must sees" for that trip. And see it I did. This is scanned from a print, as when I first visited it was back in the film days:

I believe my friends do want to see Glencoe, so I will be happy to visit there again. One of my favorite places when I was in Scotland in addition to Glencoe was Inchmahome Priory.

I will look up the drive you mentioned, as my friends also want to go to Inverness. This trip started out as a relaxing stay in the Plymouth area by the sea with day jaunts to surrounding sites, and has evolved into "Let's drive from one end of the U.K. to the other and see everything!!" We're there on the ground for 10 days. We'll see how it goes!
