Oh, you picked an awesome spot. We used to live in Southern NH. Loved it there. The entire area is fabulous. In Lincoln, there is a place called Clarks Trading Post. It's a must see. Another awesome spot in Lincoln is Flume Gorge State Park. It's a gorgeous walk up to the falls. Nearby Lincoln is Woodstock. Very cute touristy town. The Woodstock Inn Station and Brewery has fabulous food and they make their own root beer (and regular beer). The root beer is the best we've ever drank (and my boys love root beer). On I-93, the road will become single lane though the mountains. There are spots to pull over to see where Man in the Mountain used to be. It's an amazing drive. First place I've ever seen an interstate go down to one lane! Also not far away is Kancamagus Highway. Amazing view and spots to take pictures along the river. Sometimes you see moose there. Oh, and many of the towns have moose tours. Worth the price. They are so fun and you can get some great pictures. We never actually got to go up on Mount Washington, but we tried to a couple of times. Was there the weekend before Memorial Day and it was still closed for ice on the mountain. Regret that we missed it. Where ever you go, you are in the middle of the White Mountains and they are gorgeous. Have fun. I'll have to follow you so I can see the pictures. @lifepause did I miss anything?

It won't be hard to get beautiful shots! Everywhere you turn, there are beautiful views! Mountains, lakes, streams! You will be in one of the most picturesque areas of NH! Not far from Jackson is Conway, they have a great old train that you can take a ride on to get a different perspective for pics. Take advantage of the many parks! And there are many covered bridges to shoot as well. You will not be at a loss of gorgeous landscapes to shoot!

I agree with the other comments. This area is very picturesque and there is not a bad place to visit. I have been hiking and camping in the area for years.

Having lived in the White Mtns for the past quarter of a century, I would say you captured a lot, Lisa. @dianen too! I would say to add Arethusa Falls to your list, Mt Willard - 50 cent hike with a Million dollar view, and Diana's bath. If you're in the area very early July add in strawberry picking - nothing prettier than a pic of plump berries! If you can drive up, take the Cog Railway up Or hike Mt. Washington, it is spectacular - any of the Presidentials are great, can only drive one though! Been a VERY mild winter so the auto road is probably passable now!!! I'd certainly drive through Crawford Notch and visit/photograph the Mt Washington Hotel-inside and of course outside. If you need more ideas as time gets closer - give a shout! Happy to meet up and even tour. I may even have a ton of time on my hands as my work contract ends June 30. I live north of Mt Washington and lots to see on the down low touristy side too...enjoy!
