First, I'd like to thank everyone who participated in this challenge, there were a lot of good entries. I know it's often a difficult job to select a short list for a challenge, but this particular short list was especially difficult for me.
There were quite a few entries and I had some struggles trying to balance my appreciation for the image itself with the imagination and 'story telling' feature of the title. I was looking for an entry where the six words actually told a story, not one that just described what was in the photo. After a lot of mental humming and hawing, these are the ones I ended up with, in no particular order:
