waterproof camera suggestions

I'm heading down to Key West. We're going to be camping on Dry Tortugas. I'd like to have a camera to play around with in the water. I've seen those dry bags that allow you to take a land camera into the sea. I don't trust that so nope not gonna.

I thought about getting on of those bags for a couple of old point n shoot digital camera that are around here somewhere, no doubt separated from their charging cables.

hubs looked up gopro - laughed and logged off

This isn't something that we'd use that much so I'm not looking to put big money into it.

I looked on amazon and prices have certainly gone down since the last time I looked at these things, there are waterproof cameras out there for between $70-100 USD.

has anyone used one of these?

olympus TG tough... it is awesome... i have the TG 2... it's waterproof for swimming and snorkelling (not deep sea diving though)... also very rugged and shockproof... has nice optical zoom range, plus does a nice job with macro... AND the TG4 (most recent version) supports RAW shooting... i am seriously thinking of trading something in for one and will definitely do that before taking another vacation that involves water... i am betting, though, that you could get an older version for a pretty decent price...
