Weird problem with Google Chrome

March 30th, 2017
I use Google Chrome for my default browser on my iMac. The photos from only one person that I follow are always washed out. Every single one of them. Photos from everyone else are normal. If I use Firefox her images look normal. If I download her images to my computer and open with preview or Lightroom the images are normal. This person is from Ukrane but I don't know if that would have anything to do with it. Seems like some weird problem with Chrome. Any ideas anyone?

It will have something to do with the "color Space" that the person embeds in the jpeg image when posting, and the corresponding way the browser will react to it. If this is the only person you have trouble with, and only have trouble in Chrome, look in the "advanced options" of the browser to see if you can find something to do with "image" and "rendering embedded color space." What those might be I have no idea, sorry. others here might know, or you can "ask Google."

"Save for Web" options in your editors should always default to some form of sRGB, and I would advise everyone where the prime view mechanism is web, change to this color space before saving, adjust the "Save for web" options to convert, or just ignore the advanced color spaces entirely.

I use Chrome, but haven't had this issue.
