My 365 is a way for me to see and remember and look back on what I did over the past year. I'm not using it to showcase my talent (or lack-of), or anything like that. Mostly, I'm just taking random pictures of my day and putting them up here.
Trouble is, I'm not seeing anyone else do that. So, if you're one of those hidden "taking pictures for fun" types, will you let me know you exist? I love looking at all the wonderful arty-type pictures with beautiful compositions and the like, but I'd also like to see some general day to day stuff, too.
Jessica, mine are all just parts of my day... I am taking my camera everywhere I go. I just happen to be on semi vacation at the moment so seeing some really cool places not too far from my home
Well...I have a few shots of places I went the day I took them. Other times its something really neat that I saw (sunset, clouds, a bridge, etc). It's tough describing your day in one picture, don't you think?
Mine are a record of my days too sometimes driven by what I see and sometimes I actively take a shot so that I can record something Ive learned or read about or want to remember about whereever I am...like a diary.
@coderster my pics are fa fom arty & are just of things that are part of my life or things I see and wanna capture. I'm doing my project using my cell & apps from the android marketplace. A couple of my photos in my project I did a little staging but are still major things in my life. The pic I am thinking of in particular is a shot I took of several of my daily meds (though I missed a couple sadly) and my lupus awareness wristband. My pills are normally in their proper containers but I kind of spilled them out to show the shapes, colors, & even sizes. I am trying to do a sub-project of sorts showing different aspects of living with lupus so some of those may be set up or manipulated more than my other uploads.
Also mine are mostly sooc. I'd say they are ooc except that sometimes when I'm playing around I'll use my an app to take shots that then come out looking like an old-school film camera like a pinhole camera or a polaroid or something. I grew up with film (yeah, I am old) and I like the feel of those types of finishes. All the credit goes to the app developers though as I am not photo-shop gifted.
@coderster Mine are to record a pic a day of my kids or life with kids, so I can have it at the end of my year to see how they've grown & changed. I am an amatuer photographer, but this is for fun!! :)
I began to take pictures less than a year ago, only random pictures of my daily life and that is what I still do most of the time here. I learn as I go and try to find out what is photography for me and what I want to do with it. I mostly like street photography.
mine are just random things that ive thought might look ok as ive gone on through the day .... sometimes its just the kids doing any crazy thing , then maybe something totaly random the next day :S ........... its supposed to picture a year in the life of a 30-something stressed mum of 3 lol
