Write a bit about yourself or your 365 projects.

January 13th, 2011
I just noticed that I haven't write anything about myself on my profile. I just updated it today. Can you tell me something about yourself and your projects?
I wrote this on my profile:
My 365 project aims to introduce myself to the world thru photography, to show how my eyes see and view life thru the lense of my camera.

I tend to ramble, and so my profile intro is a little lengthy :D

@rebcastillo77 oh yeah i just go thru it..i can feel your passion in photography with those words!

I suck at talking about myself lol....

Student, full time mother, photographer... I have a special needs daughter who is the light of my life and the probably one of the main themes in my photography. I have a very smart son who unfortunately hides from the camera =P...

My project is just to get me to take more photos (and hopefully learn!). I used to pick my camera up maybe once a week, now I am forced to pick it up every day :) I'm a stay at home mom to 2 boys- ages 2 and 5 month.

I have so much to do each day...my life is FULL. So that's what I put on mine...kinda where I'm at, and what I'm doing this project for, you know?

My profile says:
28yr old full time mom to 2 girls (8yrs & 6yrs), wife, and natural light portrait photographer located in North Carolina, USA. I'm hoping this is a great creative outlet for me and really helps me be more vulnerable as a photographer.

I definitely try and show how God is in and through everything in my pictures, and that's the short version of my profile.

42, Female. Married, 1 child. Capricorn. Slightly lopsided, so look at the world from a different perspective..

I always have trouble writing about myself. This is what my profile says...

I am surrounded by inspiration!! But my biggest inspiration comes from my children, who are always reminding me to stay young and adventurous, and literature, which always offers me brighter insights about the world around me. And of course I am always inspired by the amazing photographers that have come into my life.

P.S. Please, please, please feel free to comment AND critique my photos. Thanks!!

@nikkers "Slightly lopsided"... I love it!! =D

This project is a combination of a couple of things. First, it's a place I can share pictures I take with others (who appreciate them and provide feedback!). Second, it's a challenge to get a new picture each day, something that has been difficult at least two days thus far. Third, it's a journal of one thing each day that I saw, visited, or did that day. Fourth, it teaches me more about the camera, and taking it off automatic (I used to use the flash all the time, now I'm more selective). Fifth, it teaches me to look at the world a little more closely. There is so much we pass by, in a hurry to get to our destinations.

I wish more people would write about themselves on their profiles. When you click on someones photos it is nice to also be able to read a bit about them.

I'm a 37 year old full-time student fighting lupus.

I am doing this project as a sorta journal of the year and see what I choose to show the world. I am also trying to learn to take better pictures and see what others chronicle in their projects.

@kjarn Exactly. And it`s kind of creepy when people start to follow, but they don`t have any info or never comment. And when you check the person and his/her album is empty,it gets even creepier.

@rebcastillo77 theres something about this site that encourages me to ramble more, maybe because its so cheerful on here :D

im still in highschool (17y old), loved photography for quite a few years now, want to study it at university along with business (which always go well together :D ). my project is random, dark on occasions, adventurous by my standards and takes up a major chuck of my day while im on holidays :D im a photoshop lover too. cant help but play around with images, the way i post process has become an integral part of my style lately :) but i guess that comes from only knowing the digital age :)

Hi.
I`m Martin,and I`m a photoholic.
I shoot with an Olympus, wich not many around here use.It is my camera. There are many others like it,but this one is mine.My camera is my best friend. It is my life.I must master it as I must master my life.Without me,my camera is useless.Without my camera,I am useless.I must photograph better then my enemy, who is trying to photograph me.I must take a shot of him before he takes a shot of me.I will...

Hi im Stacie. I am an unemployed Graphic Artist that is back in school. Have always loved to take pics! I am loving this new project, although its very hard to take a picture every day, and I am on day 12! I like looking at other peeps photos, gives me inspiration. I am mainly doing this project as a journal, although I am hoping to get creative with it too!

Hello, I'm a Fine Art student from Manchester UK studying in Leeds.
I'm in my third year and getting involved in as many student exhibitions and residencies as possible before I graduate, I also make jewellery.
Before that, I worked in an office for a couple of years.
I did 365 in 2009, and I find that the project motivates me to get outside in to the world and to be organized. It's a very positive thing. :)

I took up photography as part of the arts & crafts section of my retirement. I bought a digital camera in December, 2011. My project seems to focus more on what I am learning about photography then as a diary of my life. I wonder how my project will evolve as I go through my 365 days.

I'm new to 365. I have just always loved to take photos of my kids and other random things lol. My project is based on my kids and family life for us, where we go what we do what we see, probably not exciting to other people! I have just been browsing some photos on here and am in awe of some of the amazing pictures on here
