Farewell Venus de Milo - looking for new muse

January 14th, 2011
I have had a most fortunate four days with an amazing muse.

If you've missed it on the Home Page (OMGoodness how privileged was I/the muse?) I would like to share here.

This muse is shy, brave, talented and certainly deserves the kudos you've already shown her.

I am pretty well an unassuming person, a WYSIWYG, but what I've been able to capture has been so majical. So if you've missed it before I would like to showcase here.

There are so many flaws in the images/processing - or lack of - so enjoy these and may you too have as wonderful an experience as this enthusiastic amateur has had.

#1 Venus de Milo in 2011

#2 Pirouette

#3 Awakening the dawn

#4 Welcoming the dawn - Finale

Again, thank you fellow 365er's for acceptance of the art I've tried to give you.

EDIT: Sorry but I can't get round to thanking all the comments on the images but your feedback spurs me on and I appreciate it. Now to work ...

Honestly, I would buy this series if I had money and frame them for my walls. They truly are sea goddess-esque and perfectly captured. I love them, each and every one, as they stand. You've managed to capture feminine mystique in it's most natural form. I look forward to enjoying more of your work int he future!

@icywarm learnt to put the card in the camera when I had it in my hand ... a series of unfortunate events see me with the first image as a 1mb jpeg image only ... suggestions re what to do now with trying to get it on canvas with such low res?

2gb card lost the night before - leaving me with only a 64mb and 1gb to shoot with ... soo stressed on day 1 when I realised I ONLY dreamed I replaced the card that I put the 64mb in and could only shoot jpeg and these most awesome sunrise pix are all at such low quailty! Again suggestions?

http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/increaseresolution/Increasing_Image_Resolution_Software.htm

here are some options... at one time we only had state-of-the-art 4mb DSRL and we could still print 20x30's.... your local pro shop likely has the software and will run the enlargement (some can take upto 3 hours)... but it will cost you a few dollars... maybe someone on here has some that you could use, if you send them the file.
