I've using a Sony A6000 and I usually shoot on manual. But when I try to shoot with aperture priority, the shots come out extremely over exposed. That happens even if I'm in ISO auto between 100 and 3200. Any advice? Thanks, Sony users.
My first thought would be that you would have to select a set ISO, rather than leave it on auto. Then it only has to choose the correct shutter speed to match your aperture / ISO.
I'll have a play around tomorrow in daylight, if you don't get a better answer.
@northy You nailed it...no idea how/why but exposure comp was up to +5...and as I so rarely use it because of usually shooting in manual, it never occurred to me! Thanks.
@markp Thanks for answering...I got the answer from northy's suggestion to check the exposure comp value...somehow it had been set for +5 and I never noticed because I always shoot in manual. So that rare time I tried Aperture priority, I got that result. Easy fix.
Again, thanks for checking in and helping.
