Is anyone else finding LR Classic painfully laggy and glitchy since the last update? possibly i have too much stored on my laptop just now and i will see about moving older files to an external drive on the weekend... but really, there's still quite a bit of space and the issues only showed up since the last update... just curious as to whether anyone else is experiencing this...
tx!
I unfortunately need to bring my computer into town to upgrade since my internet is too slow (you need at least a 10 and I average 3.5 speed) and have yet to do that.
I find that a quick re-boot of the computer tends to speed things up immensely when LR slows down.
yiiiiiikes i was just offered a LR Classic update and thought 'oh yes i'll do that later' ... then i hear this and it scares me. why oh why do updates so often cause so many problems?! every time there's a mac update the people who provide me with email support send out an urgent email telling us not to update until the myriad of problems have been sorted out :(
@sudweeks wow josh that's a depressing read. i'm going to leave well alone for now and hope those of you who have the new update can downgrade or something :(
Just saw that there's a Lightroom 10.1.1 upgrade just released. Seems to be a pretty minor release (10.1 to 10.1.1) and I can't find the release notes on the adobe site. But I'm sure this is bug fixes and no new features. I just downloaded it, but since I wasn't seeing performance issues, I won't be able to tell if those were addressed.
Also - it looks like performance issues started with 10.0, and 10.1 addressed some, but not all of those issues. I would upgrade to the newest and check before downgrading to 9.4.
@sudweeks thanks! i just ran the updates... things went much better with editing - for one image... hopefully it's done the trick and all will now be well... fingers crossed!
@pistache i'm on a MAC - hopefully the update has fixed things, but i really need to play around a bit more than i have time for today before being sure...

I didn't go too into depth on it, but some people said it improved when disconnecting 4k monitors, others downgraded to 9.4 to resolve the issue.
