Uploads Not Appearing on Home Page

Hi,

I just uploaded several pictures (one for my 365 album and some for my other album). They all show up in my albums, but none of them showed up on the home page. I can't figure out why.

they are taking a bit of time tonight, they also don't show on the latest page. I'm assuming there is a lot of traffic!! Mine took about 10 mins to come through - so they should appear soon!

Hi Susan,

That happens to me too sometimes. I think the site has periods when it takes a few minutes for the image to appear on your dashboard, I'm sure they'll show up soon.

Mine took about an hour to show up tonight. The entire site seems to be running very slow tonight.

Its also happened to me this evening, i deleted and uploaded again and its still not showing ..

Happened to me, too. I even deleted my first post and redid it just to make sure it "took". Guess I'll just let it percolate a bit now that I see there's an issue.

Same here, my first attempt showed a corrupted thumbnail image - so I assumed the back end processing had not worked. My first attempt and second haven't shown in the home page, in the browse/latest and haven't been posted to Facebook :( :(

@tori3012 Don't delete and reupload. They will show up. Site is just slow. Have a little patients. :)

Oops! Well, all of mine just showed up. Guess I shouldn't be so impatient. I am glad to know other people obsess over whether or not their photos appear just like me!

@otprofsp ditto over here, but I guess if this many people can respond this quickly it is probably that the system is a bit overloaded. hopefully they will show up.

I didn't see this thread before I uploaded mine. It wasn't going through so I hit the submit button 3 times and now my photo is apprearing 3 times on the home page! *lol*

Sorry to my followers! Honestly, I'm not obsessed with my photo! ;-)

The site operates on a queue system. Every single event goes into a big queue for processing, so the site doesn't get overloaded. So your file was uploaded but the part where the link gets added to your feed so you see it in your homepage gets queued, so if there's lots of other people uploading, it can take a few minutes before the queue gets worked through. Nothing to worry about :)

I'm having this trouble today! There was even a couple hours I couldn't get 365 to load at all!

Are they also supposed to show up on 'Day'? Does that show the ones that people are looking at, or the ones people have posted? I am a bit confused as to how the browsing works.
