Well 365 days ago when I started this I didn't know it would be documenting one of the busiest/change filled years of my life:
1) I bought the firm I work for
2) We had miscarriage, had a second pregnancy and child
3) Moved out of the condo into a temp house, sold the condo, moved into my in-laws and finally moved into the house we bought.
4) Lost my father to cancer after a 10 day fight
5) My sister got married, a few months later they are expecting their first baby
6) My other sister started a dot.com and quit her 9-5 job
7) I completed my CMA (kinda done school now after 11 years!)
8) my wife stopped coaching cheerleading (first time out of the sport in 15 years)
9) I stopped ref'n hockey, something I have done since I was little.
10) I learned to winterize a boat, which was the last skill my father taught me
And that is just the big stuff….
There was lots of little things, like building a fence, setting up a new dock… things that in normal years would have seemed big or huge to me… but this year I know I am forgetting about them.
Remember to hug those you love, forgive those you hate and life is too short to only be seen through a lens, leave the camera at home sometimes and get out and live.
I will be around this year… I am starting a film project, trying to shoot/dev a roll a week or so I will post the results…
what a beautiful summation of a year in the life. I'm a bit teary-eyed and I don't even know you. Congratulations on the completion of this incredible journey. Mine will come to fruition in just a few short weeks. It is awfully bittersweet. My best to you and yours. See you around. :)
