Books I think books can make beautiful props. Some of my fav. photos are of my oldest reading to his little sisters. A dirty baseball resting in a mitt (I live in US so it's big here). old cowboy boots, ballet shoes, golf club, game controllers. The big photo prop this week at my house is a simple wood plank swing hung in a tree in our yard. You could easily put on inside if you couldn't do one outside. My husband and family love any photo I take with my son holding golf clubs or anything related to baseball. Bean bag chairs or floor pillows are fun. OH! Wooden blocks! I'm not a photographer but I take photos of my kids every day and over the last 11 years I have used my wooden blocks more times than I can count. I snap pictures while they build towers. I spell out the child's name with the blocks. We keep them in a wooden wagon that the kids sit in and pull around. Maybe a sports magazine? My 11 year old son LOVES to read sports mags. Puppets are fun very colorful and make for fun props.

After taking a quick look around my house I have a few more ideas. Microphone (for children who love to sing), large head set (ear muff type), yoyo, sling shot, fishing pole, bubbles, a chalkboard and chalk, a paint easel, large Tonka trucks, sand toys, old metal toolbox, pool toys, pails, jump rope, hula hoop, super hero cape, or chess set.
