I want a new camera...:D
So my question to you is...Is there a REALLY GOOD CAMERA...For under $200-$300? I'm asking my dad to get my one...though he lives about 900 miles away...So it KINDA has to be cheap...but I don't know if he'll do it for something that costs $599+...:|
Help?
well, without any specs im not sure what you are looking for, but i am in LOVE with my camera, which was ~250 dollars. i have a canon powershot sx130is. i did a lot of research before i decided on this one. it doesnt have interchangable lenses or anything like that, but it does have enough features within the camera itself that i dont notice that.
i tell people who ask about it that its "better than a typical point and shoot but not quite as good as a DSLR."
One of my cameras is a Fuji HS10...it's not a true DSLR, but it is a pretty nice bridge camera......usually under $375....it is also equipped with a 30X telephoto zoom which is pretty impressive...next time you are near a camera store, go check one out....it might just work for you
I LOVE my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 12.1MP Digital Camera with 18x zoom. I can get great macros out of it as well as terrific landscapes. It's a bridge camera, but I tell you, with what I can out of this camera, I have stopped wishing for an expensive true DSLR with it's lenses to change and extra stuff to lug around. I've seen it as low as $300. Amazon has it for $314
I'm loving - absolutely loving my Canon G12 - has loads of facilities and the variable angle screen which once you've had one - becomes a necessity and when I was pricing online - the US sites were extremely reasonable at around $300-350. It's considered a semi-professional camera plus it's big enough to take amazing pics and small enough to still put in your bag/or big pocket. Happy shopping.
I have just bought the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ18 and I would recoomend it to everyone! It's small, so you can take it with you everywhere. But is has an amazing lens by Leica with 16x zoom. If you stretch your budget a bit more you can get the TZ20, but it has a touchscreen and GPS and personally I think that's not contributing to the pictures you make, only eating battery-power, but that's my opinion.
I think you can't go wrong with a Panasonic, because they have great lenses and the colours are great! They work really intuitive and they are great value for money.
