Does anyone know how they come up with the top ten list in the stats for the top rated photo? My suposed top rated photo has 28 views and 4 comments - there are others with plenty more than that! How is this list compiled?
This is from a blog post on the first ever Top 20 list.
This was written by Ross.
"The list is compiled from data collected from the site, including favs, comments and views. Any photo on the site can make it in to this chart, not just photos added recently, maybe we'll see some older photos have a revival?"
It doesn't really go into specifics, but it does say it goes my favs, comments and views. Basically, if your picture makes it onto the popular page and gets lots and lots of views and favs on or near the Friday of every week, your pic may end up on the list. Hope this helps!
@eliserose781 Thanks - but i was thinking more about your personal top rated photos on your own stats page? My top ten seems totally unrelated to views and comments etc.

That is usually based on the ratio between views/faves/comments
Or at least that's how mine is.
Sorry I can't help more with that!
But if I tell you.. I'd have to.. well, you know...............
