@dune1953 It looks like it might be from the passion flower / passiflora family.. Not 100% certain though.

Looks like a mariposa lily.
In fact, I took a look at where you are located, and I can almost guarantee it. :)
I'm in CO also and an avid wildflower photographer.

Yes, it's a Mariposa Lily, as Elizabeth says. Beautiful flower; not related to the passion flower, though.
