Just wanted to let you all know that Brany is out of surgery and
Is in recovery. The volley ball sized mass turned out to be basketball sized, which is over 29 inches around! They removed it and one of her ovaries - so far so good! Will post a further update this evening. Thanks to all for your kind words and prayers!
Jenny, you're so good to let us know. In this community, *your* concerns become *our* concerns. Keeping her in my prayers and best wishes for her speedy recovery!
thanx for the update, glad that part is over for her and u .. lots of love n thoughts sending from all over the world will help her through this tough time xx
A BIG BIG BIG heartfelt thanks to all of you....you are all so amazing!!
To update you further, I talked with Brandy a little earlier this evening, and while she is extremely groggy from all the medication, she is in great spirits!! We are both in awe at the amount of thoughtfulness that has poured in from (literally) AROUND THE WORLD!! She wanted me to let you know that she had no qualms or fear when she headed into the surgery this morning...she was at complete PEACE before she went in, knowing that so many people were thinking and praying for her!!! It may be a couple of days before we know the results from the biopsy they took from the mass they removed, so your continued thoughts and prayers for her will mean so much!! What an amazing community 365 is...its like a second family for both Brandy and I, oh what a wonderful thing it is! THANK YOU!! :)
One last thing to mention, Brandy does not have medical insurance, and of course, the bills from the surgery are going to be coming in soon. I wanted to spread the word about one particular fundraiser for her and her family that has really taken off. Thanks the updates Jenny. So glad to hear that she has come through the surgery. Although I have never met her she is in my thoughts. Lets hope the news is only good from here on
Thank you for the updates Jenny. This is a wonderful thing you are doing with the fund raising and I hope you continue to receive as much generous support as you have to date. I am hoping and wishing that Brandy only hears good news when the biopsy results come back.
Lord of Host, send a legion of Your angels to shield and comfort Brandy during this time of recovery. In Jesus most blessed name we pray; amen and amen.

"Friends are like stars in the sky and she has lots of them shining down on her right now".
Thank you all. Jenny thank you for spreading the news...especially about me being completely calm and at peace with it all. I can honestly say that when I went in for surgery there was no fear. I completely placed myself in God's hands and I can not even explain to you how that felt. Seriously, something amazing. I am already home from the hospital which is pretty exceptional. This surgery was so much more involved than the doctors knew it would be. They were amazed by all of it. I will be blogging an update soon and getting my photos uploaded. I did not miss a day of the project! I thank you all for everything!
Brandy, you have some mighty good friends here! I've been checking back periodically to watch for word of your recovery, and am delighted to see you're actually the one dong the writing now. I know that such a large scar will give you some pain as it heals, but my suggestion is to pick a date a ways down the road, and know that when you reach that goal, you'll be so much better than you feel at the present! Meanwhile, you're in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery, and a positive outcome!
Amen to all the prayers for your speedy recovery, Brandy. It's so good to know that you are doing well and not only have traversed this fearful road in good spirits, but have continued to shoot pictures!! You are my hero!! Sending healing thoughts and hugs your way. ;-)
