Hello fellow 365ers! Looking for some ideas and/or suggestions on creative family portraits for Christmas. I want to hear all your ideas, (post a few if you can from past portraits you've had done)! I'm wondering about a shot with our winter coats on? We don't have snow yet, and we are going to a friend's studio. Also, we have a family of 5! : )
this is one I did last year for my brother and his family. My sister-in-law is holding a taser while the rest of the family has their mouths taped shut and are sitting in fear (minus the little one who kept laughing). "Silent Night"? I think so. Haha!
@grecican you have 8 frickin kids living below you????? No wonder you don't like baby photos! I completely understand your stance on that so much more now (not that I didn't before - but wow - 8 kids)
@pwallis okay... i may have exaggerated by like... 5 kids. it's hard to tell. it's so loud down there... all of the time... and it seems like the lady is always pregnant. or just hella fat. whatever.
I took some for a friend last year with over sized ornaments and a blow up tree down o n the beach. I'm a fan of the goofy style ones like the black rimmed glasses with a big nose.
Here is ours from last year. We had all crammed into a photo booth the year before and the resulting photos were so fun that it inspired me for this card. The inside says “hope your holidays are picture perfect”.
I was thinking of tying us all up in Christmas lights and using the remote shutter to capture our capture, but I haven't tried it yet (mostly because I don't feel like dragging out the box of Christmas lights!)
@4stories I thought you'd seen this one already! It's an oldie, but a goodie:)
@naomi I like the vantage point from above!
@positronicmommy love this - so sweet and angelic - not sure if my girls could pull it off! ; )
@cookie123 ha ha, I like the backwards, it adds to the overall effect! : )
@annaruth ha ha, that would definitely keep me silent! ; )
@grecican 8 kids below???? Wow, you need a silent night!
bitter, much? yeah...
What the hell is in that mug anyway because I've seen that "faraway" look before...at a bar.
