So sorry its been a while in coming but I thought it might be a good idea to take a mini-break to allow some regeneration of creative juices. OK I forgot for a bit... I hope you're ready for the next album cover challenge though. It's great fun - even just reading random quotes is fun before you start editing your cover. Also, if you're struggling for inspiration it might get you going again! So here's how it works:
1. Go to wikipedia and hit 'random article' on the left. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2. Go to quotationspage.com and hit 'random quotes' on the left. Scroll down. The last 4-6 words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your album.
3. Now go take a photo that fits with your album!
4. Use your favourite editing program to create your cover.
5. Share your image (or images, you can do as many as you like) with us by tagging it with 'albumcoverchallenge5' !
This challenge will run until June 8th. There is no limit to the number of entries you can make, just make sure to tag them as instructed above.
To share an entry in the thread, go to your uploaded image and find the area under your photo data that says "Share". Copy the code from the box and paste it in the discussion thread here. You can use a previously shot image or one you shoot just for this competition, but you MUST use your OWN images!!
So please have a go and have fun!!
Oh one final thing... I guess album covers should be square. Unless you're going for a gatefold sleeve! Lets not be too picky though.

Ok. My band is "European Ratsnake" (hmmm...heavy metal/grunge?) And my album is "Love More Deeply" (Although I think the three words in the quote that precede these three would fit the band more: Hurt More Deeply. LOL) Just wish that now "European Ratsnake" didn't sound like a euphemism.......
Dvarapala?
because the waters are calm?
Must be a new-age relaxation CD. Or something indie folk?
The water is from a Michigan river, taken in February.
@houser934 That water has got to be some of the coolest, soothing water I've ever seen! I can totally see that cover sitting next to the cd player in an acupuncturists office! :-)
This was fun!
